Post Converting Vinyl to Digital Format...
So I know there are turntables out there that have adapter cables to convert vinyl to digital formats, but I remember reading mixed reviews about the output quality. Anyone recommend a particular model? I wanted to re-record my vinyl collection (currently at 128 mbps) to 320 mbps.

I can't give any turntable recommendations, though I would look for one that records at 24-bit instead of 16-bit. That would at least be a sign that they care about doing more than the bare minimum, quality-wise.

You may want to save these files in FLAC or ALAC (Apple Lossless) this time. Even though 320 kbps is good, and much better than 128, it's still not archival quality. FLAC and ALAC can compress to around 50% of the original file size, but lose zero quality. They can be reconstituted back to the original 1:1.

Unless you really enjoy running your vinyl to digital every few years (i.e. when something measurably better than 320 kbps MP3 is the "it" format in 2017). Then have at it. :)
