Post A2DP 30 Pin Adapter...
I bought an I-Wave A2DP 30 pin adapter so I could stream audio via bluetooth from my iPhone to my BMW car stereo. It's functional, but I have to manually select the adapter when the car is started, steering wheel controls don't work, and it doesn't transmit track info. I guess I can't complain as it's a "dumb" device and was fairly inexpensive (gotta love the Chinese!). Anyone found a "smart" adapter?

There was a line of semi-smart adapters that I was looking into years ago. They were made for all different brands of cars, ranging from $150 or so, and up. Part of the integration was control from your factory head unit. Can't remember the name...
